Having some problems

Just purchased this range and the oven door produces a cracking noise like a large spring has gone haywire. I would like to know how to prevent this from occurring?

burners are too wide for any small utensil

While everything is good, it has a fundamental flaw. The burners except for the small one are too wide for using any small cooking utensils.

You should watch the flame, not the knob, as you adjust heat. When rapid heating is desired, the flame size should match the size of the cookware you are using. Flames larger than the bottom of the cookware will not heat faster and may be hazardous.

Unbelievable!

Almost bought this stove but then read a few reviews and decided against buying anything so stupidly designed. NO LIGHT SWITCH??? That's right, there is no switch for the oven light. So what is the point of putting a glass window on the door?
The light does come on when you open the door but News Flash, when the door is open I can see what is inside the oven from the light in my kitchen. How could anyone in the appliance business be that stupid?
I don't care for the stainless steel model because of the finger prints that show so I was planning on getting the black and when you say black I mean Black. Not one bit of contrast, GE must paint this in the Stealth plane factory. Come on guys, maybe a chrome knob or handle to break it up?
still, after all the time I spent researching Gas Ranges I could almost live with this black monolith in my kitchen but the lack of a light switch is unforgivable.

This product came with the new house, so I did not have a choice in purchasing this range. Does not even have a light that you can manually turn on to look in the oven.

First time I used the convection bake did not work very disappointing. now I have to miss work to wait for a repair man to repair a brand new appliance. Quality it is not what it used to be. Need repairman to work later in the day or at least on a Saturday sometimes
