Great Electric Stove

A great replacement stove for us. Love the look and the ease of use. So nice to have the convection features. We love the digital buttons and the steam cleaning.

Very disappointed with GE Range.

The exact same thing happened to my GE Profile range as described by Northland girl. I purchased the range in January of 2018 and by July of 2020, the red light came on indicating hot surface and never shut off. At the same time, my front left burner would intermittently work, then over a few weeks, stopped working completely. I unplugged the range, thinking it would 'reboot', but no good. At one point, the back right burner quit working, but is working at the moment. last My last electric range worked for 20 years without one problem, then thinking I needed to upgrade, I purchased the GE range and have been very disappointed with its performance. At the very least, I feel General Electric should have a recall or fix the part with no charge to the purchaser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lovely stove

We just had this installed recently. After 20 years of GE gas stoves, I have been pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of this new electric stove.

GE convection stove

Just installed and love it thus far. Since purchase, I have discovered induction stoves work best with steel bottom pans. Does a magnet stick to bottom of pan? Not mine, so purchased a new set of pots and pans. Old ones still work but as I understand, better heat conduction with magnetism. I have used the convection oven a couple of times, turning the temp down 10 degrees and products baked beautifully. So far I am enjoying this new purchase. I always discount value somewhat. Today's standards and my standards differ a bit. Items costs substantial for a much shorter life span.
