I have strictly used gas stoves all my life, but recently changed to electric when recently forced to use electric. After researching various brands of gas versus electric stoves, I purchased the GE Profile Series because of its good reviews and features. I like the two self-cleaning features and the edge to edge smooth top. No more cleaning around the top edge! Especially like the two double burner sizes in the front. Makes it very convenient for petite cooks like myself. I can't wait for holiday season to use the three racks for cutting cookie making time almost in half! My husband was shocked when I told him I wanted this stove, after all I AM a gas stove girl.

We've had this stove for the past month and are happy with our purchase. It has a rapid boil feature that we like and the top is easy to keep. Loving the slate color too.

Great appliance. Love the sleek look of the cook top. First covered coil oven I have owned - FANTASTIC! So far even baking and spot on temps! The slate color is amazing.

Great Range !!

I waited three months to review my new range to use it and see how it worked. Anyway it replaced my older GE range that had the coils which I replaced with this flat top range. Anyway after using this new range for three months all I can say is it’s pretty nice. I was going for a model below this one but I decided to go big with the no knobs and convection oven plus the wife likes the bigger oven and bigger glass door area where you can see in it much better.and we really like the no knobs panel. Now since this is our first flat top range it did take some getting use but that’s in a good way. It’s actually really neat just have to get use to the temperature and adjust but really like how the flat top works and like I said just takes some learning factor and getting used to plus and it will boil water in a heartbeat. I guess the only other thing is getting use to is cleaning the flat top stove which takes more but use that cerama bryte cleaner does the trick. Usually we wipe it down with a wet dishcloth after it cools down and dry with a paper towel and use the cerama which after you get used to it’s care when needed. But follow directions and use the correct sponge that come with the cleaner and wipe/shine with a paper towel. but this is a really neat range and the convection is neat to use, i believe meat comes out more moist using it and I use it for my biscuits which I think browns them perfect. But anyway so glad I went with this higher end model we really love it so far.

Love love my new range!! Love the glass top and the choice of burner size! Haven’t used my warming burner yet but I will! Love the 3 racks in the oven and especially the convection part, cookies are perfect as if they cane from a bakery!! Thank You GE!!! One Happy New owner!

Cooking top is impossible to clean.

The cooking surface is the worst I have ever experienced . It is very hard to remove dirt from and shows every crumb and baked on. Cleaning it is a daily chore and a difficult one. Beware.

The first one as soon as it was plugged in, shut down! The second one, the drawer was damaged when delivered
