Several issues

Cook top and oven seem much harder to remove spills and stains compared to the similar GE (Spectra?) range/oven I had previous to this unit. Back control panel signage lights are small and indistinguishable in a well lighted kitchen and some of the controls are not clearly understandable (What is the faint printed "Melt" signify?). Cook top signage ("Hot" warning, Speed Boil, Warmer) is indistinct also. (The "Hot" warning light should be on the back control panel to be seen from a distance). I am very disappointed with this GE product. I may be spoiled by my experience with the previous GE stove but this unit clearly does not measure up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great stove

Did extensive review of all electrical ranges and by far this is the best in the price range. The feature where the turn on knobs are high up is great! Big safety feature. No dirty knobs to clean. The drawer below is sturdy compared to other brands. Easy to clean!

This oven really is cooking! The appearance is very modern and sleak. The quick boil feature boils water in minutes and the oven cooks evenly and quickly. Even the pre-heat feature is awesome and is shown degree by degree as it reaches the set temperature. Paired with the Profile microwave, is a pair that cannot be beat. Highly recommended all around!

My only complaint so far is that the cook top is hard to keep clean. The cleanser recommended leaves a film and shows every spot, every fingerprint.
