Working well

3 months of use and happy with our purchase of this range. Slate finish is great. Controls and features easy to use. Glass top requires care to avoid scratching, which we knew we bought this.
Oven temperature readout doesn't quite match actual temp. in oven. It indicates oven is fully up to temperature before it actually is, by about 10 minutes. We requested a warranty service call and a service tech was here the next morning. He told us the oven was working properly and explained how it heats up, told us the two thermometers we hung in the oven to check the range readout may be inaccurate by 10 to 20 degrees, but those indicate a difference of 40 degrees when the range says it is up to set temp. So we still feel the temp. readout is misleading at first. Once it really reaches set temp. it seems to be accurate, and this is a minor issue. Overall very pleased with the product.

We've only had the range for a few days, but everything operates as expected and the we really like the push button style controls (our old one had knobs).

Modern Look and Classic GE Quality!

So far so good! Upgraded from 9 year old GE appliances that the builder installed in the home. These are a huge upgrade - almost went with a different brand but having lived and used GE problem free for 9 years its hard to switch. I really like the edge to edge glass cooktop(no more cleaning the edge surrounding the painted metal) easy to read controls. This oven is easy to use with Chef Connect that connects time, fan and other features with my GE microwave! The small details that make this oven the obvious choice - I did a lot of research - the oven light comes on when you open the door, almost silent convection fan, and nice size storage drawer are just a few! Thanks GE for a modern update the kitchen workhorse - looking forward to another 9+ years of trouble-free performance!

Very Good Stove

My wife wanted a new oven + range (flat glass cooktop) to replace our 15-20-year old model. This GE model has a wide range of cooktop features, including 5 burners, 2 having dual burner sizes. The only down-side is that the cooktop can be scuffed by cast-iron or rough-bottomed cookwear--but it's fairly easy to prevent.
