Great features - maintenance more as well

Unit was installed a week ago so far really enjoy all the features but didn't count on the added maintenance due to the glass top. It probably will not be as bad or as intimidating the more we get used to it. This replaced a 38 year old Range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had the stove for about two week works great so far. I cant wait to try the convection roast feature. Only which we bought the oven with the probe option.

Great features and sleek look

Just purchases this stove as part of a kitchen makover. Have previously owned a ceramic cook top stove. Like the extra warmer burner and the fact that you can select the size of the burner to match the pan you are using. Also like that the cooktop is flat to the edge of the stove. The stove appearance is modern and sleek. We purchased the stainless steel model.

Great Features, Poor Quality

I bought this GE Profile Range 6 months ago. I love the features but have had issues with quality. The cooktop cracked for the second time when I was warming tortillas on the power boil burner - this time a crack about 2 inches in length. The manual advises not to use the cooktop if the top is cracked, so this being the second time, this range cooktop has become unusable, unreliable and even dangerous. The smell of electrical parts burning became evident and the F61 error code keeps flashing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Classy features, from the clean unatrusive control panel to the sound affects when turning on burners. Absolutely love the quick self-cleaning mode. I won't have to wait half a day for cleaning to complete. The burner elements get to the desired heat and respond to changes quickly. The GE Profile is the best electric range I've ever had.
