GE Profile Electri Range

This range works well, but I have had a major problem with it at least three times now. When the electricity is interrupted in the house , it shuts down completely, a dinging noise begins and the stove is out of commission until the circuit is reset. I have a Profile stove top and this has never happened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost Great

Purchased almost 3 months ago for my new home. It works well but when comparing it to the convection oven in my previous home; it doesn't work the same. When I use convection bake, it doesn't bake quicker or at a lower temperature than regular bake. I'm a little disappointed with the convection feature. Also, there was no user guide which would have made it easier to use the cook top features. I've been guessing a lot when I cook on the glass surface.

Does not disappoint

I purchased this stove to replace the GE electric coil range that came with our newly constructed home in 1999. Since quality coil ranges are not really available any longer I started looking at glass tops. All the glass tops I had seen in other peoples homes seemed to have a propensity to look dirty or stained and I was not liking the groove that edged the burners. I liked this one as the glass top covers the entire surface of the stove. I also like the touch control panel which replaces the typical knobs on most stoves. Clean up is a breeze. One of the easiest I have ever seen. I love this range for its easy of care and the way it cooks. The convection oven is exactly what I was looking for and the extra warmer burner comes in handy (a feature I thought I would not use but I frequently do).
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product looks good, is easy to handle but the glass top is not as hard as it should be. I really take care and I have first class Pots but there are allready scratches which I never had on my other range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features and great looking

We bought this range in tandem with a profile microwave. The chef connect sync works great. The 5 Burners offers some flexibility. Would definitely get this again!

I just had this range installed today and used it to cook dinner and it worked great. Burners heat quickly and oven has 3 racks for cooking several dishes at the same time. I like the look of this range and replaced a black, smooth surface GE Profile that was 9 years old. I wanted to brighten the kitchen with stainless steel and it did just that in my newly purchased home.
