Great range, one safety hazard

It's a pleasure to use. I gouged my bare left calf pretty badly when opeing the oven door, though. Two places on the upper left inside of oven door are sharp. I won't sue. I think you should blunt those edges before someone does sue. Thank you.

Huge upgrade over what it replaced

Our stove was delivered on Friday, March 13th, just as the world was starting to shut down. This has given us the opportunity to get to know it quicker than we might have otherwise. The 550 degree maximum temperature and Convection Roast setting make for better homemade pizza, and in general the temperature control on both stove and the oven are more precise than I was dealing with previous. Plus the whole thing is just more solidly built. We are very happy about a month in.

I simply love this range. My old one stopped and I was glad. The aged one had a white top and was never really clean, it had dark marking on all but=rner. This pretty black top is a breeze. It shines when cleaned and operates like a charm. Thank you GE

Purchased the GE profile electric range in stainless steel.
The oven heats quickly due to the convention option. The temperature remains consistent which is a big plus when baking breads and pastries. There are different sizes for the burners so you don’t ruin your pots and the warmer burner is great for heating up cold plates.
The self cleaning oven is a big plus. The glass top is easy to clean which is a big plus! Would definitely by another GE product in the future!

So far, I like it very much. Love that there's no dials that get in the way when cooking on the back burner. That was always a problem with my old unit. The only
problem, as other reviewers have noted, is that the cooktop is hard to keep clean. I have to use weimans glass cooktop cleaner and their cooktop scrubbing pads after everything I cook. When it's clean and shiny, it's just beautiful!! Nice even heating too
