I am so in love with this stove! From the incredible color, edge to edge burners, massive center burner for a large pot or griddle (my choice), self cleaning oven....what more could a gal want?!?! This is my favorite appliance!

Doesn't heat correctly

I bought this range a few months back and couldn't be more disappointed. In order for the oven to heat you have to turn on one of the burners for a few seconds. The burners have one burner that gets really hot. The other 3 takes about 20 minutes to even boil water. Maybe I just got a bad one I don't know
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE slate range is wonderful!

I bought this range a few months ago and am getting used to the edge to edge cooktop, it feels like im going to burn my hands on the pan handle some times, so be careful handling. Over all I love this stove!

Horrible experience ...

I purchased this appliance and had it installed 17 days ago. I have only used the range approximately 5 times since installation. Last night, after heating dinner in the oven the F2 code came up a few hours after oven was turned off. I pressed the cancel / off button and the code went away. After approximately 1 hour, the code and beep returned. 24 hours later, it has happened again and the oven hasn't even been used today. I have disconnected the range and will call for service tomorrow. This is not turning in to a good purchase to have to call service prior to one month of use. UGH ... highly disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love My New Range

I love my new range. I look forward to using it for many years. This is my second GE range and We had wonderful service out of the first one for 25 years. I love the color (slate) and the overall look of it. The only thing that really surprised me was NO BROILER PAN came with the range. Really guys! That is truly a ridiculous way to save a few dollars.

Great Range

Bought my range over a month ago. I never knew that the BTU made such a difference in cooking. I am on a learning curve, in which burner is best for what I am cooking. I like having the continuous cooktop, place my pans anywhere.
The oven works great. I do wish the griddle came with the stove, but I will buy one.
