Problems right off!!

Before pushing it back to the wall, we thought to test it. The electronics lit up, set the time, timer. Then tested the burners, all worked well. however nothing works below the, no over light, no ignition of the burners for either oven or broiler.
Scheduled a repair, but will take 2 weeks to look check it out. We were told parts had to be ordered, Hmmmm... Without checking, how is known what parts are needed?
