During standard washing of the knobs in DAWN dishwashing liquid the foil started to bubble off the knobs.

looks great, works fine, but some problems

It looks great (as all slate appliances do) but there are 2 reasons I wouldn't buy it again. 1. drawer on the bottom falls off its rail if you open it more than half way. 2. Its difficult to clean the stovetop. If GE made drip pans that fit this model that would help.

Love my new Range!

The burners give a far better overall heating to the pans on each one. We especially like the center long burner so we can put our Long Griddle on and it heats it much evener than trying to use two.

I love my stove. It is a joy to bake and cook with. It is beautiful and functional and the price was right also. What more could a girl ask? Would highly recommend it to anyone.
