Cooks fine. Overall engineering not great. Storage draw so flimsy it hits floor when pulled out. Stainless finish spots easily and is hard to clean. Center burner cover is impossible to keep clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the 5 burners and being able to digitally set the oven to the exact temperature I want. I also like the broil option.

Like many prospective buyers, I did a lot of research before purchasing my new appliance. The information can be overwhelming for sure! But after while, you see a trend (good & bad) amongst the reviews that help sift out the good products from the not so good.
I chose this GE gas stove because it had the most positive reviews for (A) Quality (other stoves had issues with the enamel surfaces) (B) Design & features (continuous surface grates, various burner outputs, and professional look).
I have been using my GE stove for several months now and do a 'happy dance' every time! If I recommended any improvement, it would be to add a preset 'warm' feature for the oven. Its not a huge issue; my workaround is just to reduce the oven temp to 200 manually.
Thanks GE for a GREAT product!
