The top is easy to clean, not a lot of crevasses for food to get caught.

After so many years with our old GE Profile, it was time to update, within a budget. This new gas stove is handsome, functional, sturdy, and nicely built. The range area is hefty and with the center grill NO reason to not have grilled cheese sandwiches. I saw this model and the rest is history!

Poor Quality and Features

I spent a lot on this range because I wanted a reliable and well made product. Upon installation by the delivery person, there was an issue with one burner which required a visit from a repairman (part of my warranty). A year later, the top oven does not work, so I am about to call out the repairman again. The lower oven, when you open the door it drops fast if you let go and the handle hits my tile floor. One broken tile to prove the impact, but fortunately it did not damage the range. I don't always hold it as it opens all of the way, because it requires I bend all the way down and touch the floor. This is poor design. Lastly, during the many power outages by PG&E last year, I felt prepared in that I have a propane stove on this range so I will still be able to cook. Unfortunately, to my surprise, the gas shuts off during power outages and completely disables the stovetop. Even though it runs on gas, the electricity must be on for it to operate. Also, the painted emblems near the stove knobs that identify which burner you are about to turn on are completely worn off. Honestly, I wish I could return it for a refund. I am very disappointed by this product in so many ways.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
