This stove is just okay. I feel that the low setting on the front burners is still too hot.

We have had this a few months now. We wanted a range that would be easy to use, without a lot of bells and whistles that we would never take the time to learn how to use. This model is perfect. We have not once thought "if only we had this feature...."

Not like they used to be

Had a GE glass top stove for over 10 years that NEVER scratched. My new stove is 1 year old and has 3 scratches on it. So fragile. I think the composite of the glass top is inferior to what it used to be. Also a design flaw for me....the larger burners are both in the front of the stove and every time I cook steam flows into the kitchen and is not absorbed by the matching GE microwave I also purchased. The glass top is also a fingerprint magnet. Overall disappointed with product. As far as performance....it acts like a stove as it should. The oven is acceptable also.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We were forced to purchase a new range because GE discontinued the main panel as a service part. We did not get all the perks as the old range but it does work as any range would.
I would recommend this to a friend!
