lopsided storage drawer

The storage drawer is misaligned even after the installation tech tried to straighten it. I checked with the showroom model and the drawer on it is properly aligned. The GE serviceman is scheduled to come look at it this week. Fingers crossed! Other that that, the range is attractive and well designed.

Watch the heat!

I have had a hard time adjusting the cooking "volume" compared to my old electric stove. I find that I must cook at a lower level than before if I don't want to burn my grilled cheese. Then it comes back on higher, as if to heat up and I need to remove the pan from that burner for a minute.

So far so good! This stove is beautiful and, so far, works well and as described. I especially like the extra oven shelf and warming burner. The only complaint I have is that the bottom drawer is smaller and not as sturdy than in my old stove.

Just purchased this electric range for my new kitchen. It is the third GE range we have owned because they are more reliable than other brands. I love having 5 burners and the double burners in front. The glass top can be a little difficult to clean but if you rub a little cleaner on the glass top when you are done cleaning it, it seems to protect it better. The convection oven fan is very noisy and I cannot fit my very large 12 slice pizza tray in the oven unless it is on the bottom shelf below the fan, however, I knew this before purchasing this range, and still felt it was worth it.

Lovin' my oven!

We knew we wanted to stick with GE because our microwave / hood fan is the stainless with a black GE. So glad we chose this model! Only thing I would have upgraded if it were in the budget would be to do the induction cooktop but the fifth burner is a savior and so far all the other features were fantastic! It even has a lovely chime for the timers and notifications! This is a sexy range!
