I love the style of this stove, compared to others that we looked at. There was a trade-off in the oven drawer to gain more space in the interior, but I adapted to that. I love the 5th burner for warming and the melting feature. The lowest simmer setting seems to always be a slower boil; just something you have to pay attention to. All in all, wonderful stove that we were able to purchase at a great price!

great new stove

My old GE Profile stove died after 25 years of service and I have replaced it with the new modern Ge Profile. I am very please with this new appliance and hope to get as many years of service from it. I use it daily to cook for my family.

Quality of sheet metal is flimsy, drawer flexes when opening and closing. Drawer slides were broken when delivered and it took a couple of weeks to be repaired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Really Like This Range!

I stepped up into the 21st century with this new range. The features are great, the smooth top is convenient and easy to care for, and the convection/conventional oven option makes this range worth every penny.

Nice looking Range at a Reasonable Price

Overall this GE range arrived in excellent condition I installed it myself pretty straight forward no biggie had to replace my existing GE dual range because replacement parts were not available to fix it? So I got something close to what I had with many of the same features as sadly appliances don't hold a value anymore like they once did in the older days. So many manufacturers are constantly discontinuing models with newer ones. Overall this is a very nice looking range I like the colors hope they don't change them as it's hard to match appliances today. One of the biggest issue with a many of these newer ranges is keeping the stove glass top clean as it stains real easy. The key is applying several coats of polish cleaner to the glass top before you actually cook on them helps reduce staining issues. I did have a slight temperature display issue vs my thermometers? Ironically the oven temp sensor is located in the upper left hand corner of the range not in the center where you normally would take a temp reading so it was different? Another issue I had I was under the impression that this range had a fast Preheat feature however it takes about 15-20 minutes to stabilize therefore, it takes a bit more preheat time to actually get the oven temperature to be at the right temperature before baking. So this would be a issue if you bake a lot of cakes or cookies. I did like the steam cleaning feature as well and cover over the bottom heating element in the oven.
