Love everything about the stove

With it being summer I haven’t used it much but I love the black slate color and I like that the elements in the stove are not exposed and that they are covered for spills and things

Excellent range

This GE Range is an excellent product. Feature set is great. Oven temps are consistent at =/- 6 degrees. Top off stove doesn't get too hot when oven in use. Eyes cool quickly after use. The only little nit picky thing is the pull out drawer is very shallow.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a year old. Only been in use since February 23, 2020. Hairline crack in glass cooktop. Third stove with glass top over last 20 years, first one to have a crack! Can’t get in touch with GE

So disappointed with the cooktop. First time I used the stove to boil a pot of water, I was left with spots. Second time I was making something in a pan. Cooktop is discolored and there is something I can’t remove. Tried the cleaner provided and still see the “gunk”. I won’t even used the stove and oven in fear that I will have this awful mess. How many times are you supposed to use the cleaner? Its a hassle every time you make something on this stove.

Do not buy! "Temp is not going to be at temp"

Do not buy this oven. When I called to report that it doesn't get to temperature, the support said "the engineers designed it that way. It will take 15-20 minutes after it says it is ready to get to that temp. The engineers told us that you just have to watch your food and adjust your cooking time and temp to get the result you want." And "the temperature reading is not the best way to determine the oven temperatire." WHAT?!?! If I wanted to babysit my food and mess woth temperatires because it is DESIGNED to NOT READ TEMPERATURE.
Now I'm stuck babysitting my food or buying another oven. Because they don't consider this to be a defect--because they DESIGNED IT THIS WAY.

Flaws in design

The store rep did not explain the glass top range sensitivities. Upon reading the manual once installed, I was taken aback by its limitations. You cannot use a cast iron skillet, nor a wok that sits on a support ring plus other types of cookware may damage the glasstop. Also it is recommended that you do not leave any lid or pot on it that is wet. Must be dried up immediately. Can't move pot from one location to another on the glasstop. Must pick the pot up and carefully put down on another burner or will scratch it. I would not have selected this range. It should be more durable. I also tried the convection oven but did not find it worthwhile. Did not seem to make much difference it the baking of items on different racks.

QUIT WORKING AFTER ONLY 3 YEARS

ONE OF THE TOP BURNERS, AFTER ABOUT 2 YEARS, STARTED ONLY HEATING AT HIGH - REGARDLESS OF THE TEMPERATURE IT WAS SET AT. THEN, AT ALMOST 3 YEARS, THE OVEN QUIT WORKING.
