Couple things I’d change

The timer needs tweaking. I like it much better to have s little louder sound and that it would go off briefly and then go off once a minute. If you hear it go off you need time to get there and you do t need it constantly ringing. And if you want it go another minute or two you can count times it goes off. Also the hot cooktop light is on the cooktop which I think it would be better to have on the backsplash. What if s pot is on top of the light. Also it would be good to show which burner is hot. Also I wish it wasn’t so black. I wanted stainless steel but would have preferred white accents not black but didn’t see any products this way.

Even though the burners heat up well, everything still simmers on the low setting. Do not like that the oven bangs while warming up and it's usually twice; scares me and the dog. Also the ding from the timer is NOT loud enough. You have to be close to the kitchen to hear it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loud Oven Noise

Liked everything about this stove until we started using the oven.. I would think that a good manufacturer would be able to eliminate the "very loud popping noise" that the oven makes during use. Most probably a metal contracting / expanding sound, but it is totally annoying and worrisome.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this as a replacement for an 18 year old GE Spectrum, which I have been happy with. I've only had the range for a few weeks, but so far it works well and looks great. My only wishes are that the oven heated a little quicker and that one of the small burners was 7 inches instead of three six inch burners.
