I just love GE appliance because it never failed me. This time for my new kitchen I got all GE appliances and all in slate color and it is fenominal.

Very nice oven/range

Love how evenly the convection feature cooks everything. I don't have to turn or spin items to prevent them from burning. Glass top burners are so nice. I'm learning that they retain heat for a while though, so if you need to simmer, sometimes you have to turn it all the way down and even that might be too hot for what you're doing. But that's just a getting-to-know-you learning curve. I like the one-minute warning chime when using the timer.

We're happy to hear that you're a big fan of your range. Glad to hear that you've been getting a lot of use out of the convection bake feature. Yes, the burners on your cooktop will remain warm/hot after you've turned them off. There are lights near the front of the cooktop that will let you know which burners are still hot.

my only complaint is its very hard to read the knobs, like how high I have the burner & which one I have on .I'm real careful now, after turning wrong one on. otherwise its perfect
