It was great until it broke - oven door stuck

We liked this stove and oven until the oven door latch motor went out after ONLY 3 years of service.
I expected more and we are disappointed and will not be recommending GE to our friends, family, etc.

If I could give NEGATIVE Stars I would

The oven will not hold a constant consistent temperature. It's either too high or too low making manual adjustments impossible. It takes FOREVER to heat even close to the programmed temperature. And, the first time I used the Steam Clean function, it warped the floor of the oven. In addition, the stovetop burner set at low is too hot. It should not be a hard simmer! It should also function as a warm setting. I have video of my oven temp struggles & receipts for 3 oven thermometers.

Our oven is barely 2 years old and we turned it on to cook dinner and it smelled like something burned up and then turned off and will not turn back on. No power to oven, we did not purchase an extended protection plan so we have to fix it or buy new one.

Nobs are plastic and flimsy. Impossible to use the range top without scratching it. Cooks great. Quickly preheats. Can't seem to find the correct burner/temperature combo to simmer something. It smoked and smelled the first time I used it, but I expected that, and it did not happen again. Timer is barely audible from any room but the kitchen.
