Great stove!

My stove works great I love the way it warms the size of your pots & pans.I haven't cleaned the oven yet but I'm sure it is easy. The cleaning is the stickler some times because the paper towels leave a film on the surface .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just purchased and so far am very impressed with this range - bought this one because the glass top is much better than most and cleans easier. Also, am excited to use the true convection feature which is new to me.

Convection oven is wonderful!

This is my second GE electric range. My first GE range lasted 16 years! So far, the convection oven works beautifully. I am also excited to have a warming burner on the stovetop. One thing I would highly recommend is to download and save the full owner's manual from the GE website. The full manual has much more needed info than the Quick Guide that comes with the range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Stove

My stove was installed about 2 weeks ago and I really like it. I had never had a convection oven before and am still learning to use it, no manual with the appliance, just a general information sheet. Do notice that biscuits, chicken, cookies, etc cook better overall that my previous 20 yr old stove, I am guessing it is because of the fan - but do not notice that anything I have baked / cooked so far was baked / cooked any faster yet. Biscuits and cookies have come out evenly lightly browned all over, no burnt bottoms which I hate.

Love the cook top. Oven, so-so.

This range was delivered New Years eve. It is stylish and sleek. I love the cook top. It heats fast and is easier to clean than those coils and nasty drip pans! I actually like cleaning the stove top now!
I am not impressed with oven. When the preheat indicator shows 350 degrees, it is really about 250. It will come up to temp, but it takes time. I have to let it completely come up to temperature before I put in a pizza or bake cookies. With my old oven I could turn it on without preheating, throw in a pizza and it would be done in 15 minutes. With this one I have to remember to allow more time for the preheat and baking. This is my first convection oven. I thought convection was supposed to be faster than standard bake, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I do like the size of the oven. It is much larger than my old Hotpoint. I like that the light comes on when you open the oven door. The indicator chime could be MUCH louder. I have it set on the highest setting and it is still quiet.
Over all it is okay. The cook top makes up for the mediocre oven. I will just have to adjust my baking style!
I don't know if I can recommend this to a friend. While I do like the cook top very much, I am disappointed in the oven.
