Even though we have only had this appliance for a few days, we love it. It has all the features we want and the control knobs are at the back of it. Consumer Reports also rates GE's quality the highest of the it's competitors.

I bought this stove/oven right before Thanksgiving. Haven't gotten used to the convection oven yet. Guess I need to sit down and look at the instruction maual some more

surdace burners long to cool down ?

when surface burners are started in mid high to high and then you turn down to low, for simmer, it takes a long time to cool down to low sometimes 20 or 30 minutes or you have to take pot off burner for a few minutes and put back on

I originally made the mistake of buying a competitors lstove and immediately knew this wasn't for me luckily my retailer took the boat anchor back and steered me towards this unit.. talk about night and day . this stove is amazing more than I could have hoped for looking forward to years of great cooking
