Has all the important features, but delicate glass

This is a good looking range with very nicely implemented features. My one big complaint is the glasstop, that scratches too easily in fact easier than the older model of this same range that I had for over 10 years. I've owned this range for less than 2 months and it has more scratches than my 10 year old one!
They talk about using baking powder to remove scratches and I can vouch that it doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features but confusing

Stove burners are fast but cleaning the surface takes more effort than my old Kenmor. Still trying to figure out the convection oven. Not bad for a retired widower

I bought a GE range since my other one was a GE. It lasted 20 years so I decided to get another GE. The glass cooktop is very high maintenance. It shows all finger marks and cleaning marks. The biggest drawback it is the readability. Hard to see the markings on the slate background. Have to use the under the counter microwave light. Has nice features especially the rapid boil feature.

Bought the Slate appliances for my new-build home. Absolutely love the slate color, and the appliances are beautiful in my kitchen! I realy like the range, except for the fact that the glass top is hard to clean. No matter what I use, there seems to remain a grease-like film. Wish I could get this gone!

I bought this about three months ago and am happy with it. The features are great, I do feel like it takes longer to preheat than my old stove though.
