Double Oven and Griddle and Grates

The grates and griddle are all the same height. Makes it very convenient when moving large pots and pans around. Oven has been fantastic, though temps seem a little lower than displayed. We will need to confirm with an oven thermometer.

So in love with this product. The double oven has been used a number of times and makes cooking a breeze. Being able to convection cook is amazing. We use our griddle top on the stove quite a few times a week. So far, it is fantastic!

First one was a lemon...it happens, but the appliance company, GE service and GE product rep all stood behind the product and now I have a great stove that is working correctly. Love love love the double oven feature for baking or cooking different dishes at different temperatures. GE is a great company that stands behind their products!

Absolutely love this stove/ oven, griddle! You can make a whole meal and dessert at once! Example- homemade chicken noodle soup on a burner, rolls in the upper oven, cake in the lower convection oven, and grilled cheese sandwiches on the griddle! Love it, and have already recommended to a few friends.

Love my new stove! One of the selling features of our brand new house was that it had all GE appliances! We wouldn’t use any other brand.

When preheating the oven the temperature readout indicates that the oven temperature has been reached as set. After several failed baking attempts because the item required much more baking time than the recipe indicated, I purchased an oven thermometer and found that when the readout indicated the oven was to the correct temperature in reality it was over 50 degrees lower. I contacted the retailer and they came out and told me that the purchased thermometers are inaccurate and to preheat the oven for a minimum of 30 minutes. This is a brand new oven and I would assume that the temperature readout and preheat reached buzzer would be accurate. It is difficult to plan a meal time or get a quality baked item with this oven unless I use a purchased thermometer to tell me when the oven is to the correct temperature. Very frustrating. I have purchased GE appliances for most of the past 40 years and this is the first problem I have had with an appliance. Because of my previous satisfaction with GE appliances I did not read reviews prior to purchase. After experiencing problems with the oven, I did read reviews and it seems this is a common flaw with this model stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
