Great Range

I'd been holding out for a double oven for a while and researched online quite a bit before deciding on this GE model. I wanted a white range (no more stainless steel for me) and this one fits the bill perfectly. The burners on the range top are very powerful. The ovens both preheat very quickly and cook evenly. The lower oven has a convection feature which I haven't used yet. Cleaning is great - this one has steam clean or regular self clean. I definitely prefer the self clean feature as I think the steam clean doesn't work at all.
My only gripe is that this model doesn't come with an owner's manual - you have to go online for any instructions. But I'm old school and prefer looking at a printed page.

After a week all the lights quit working and I'm sure the convention fan I haven't seen working at all

Where to begin? The double ovens are priceless. For a small meal, it's wonderful to just heat the smaller oven. For baking cookies I get both ovens going and have a batch of cookies done in no time. These ovens also preheat far more quickly than any I've ever had before either in my home or in one of the homes in which I have worked. Usually it takes approximately 5 minutes or less to preheat. The burners are excellent. The largest burner has a quick boil feature that is amazing. The timer took a few times to get used to but now that I have become accustomed to it, it works great for me. The griddle feature is so convenient either as a griddle or as a warming plate. I would change or add absolutely nothing to this stove. As far as I'm concerned it's the best appliance purchase I've ever made. I cook most things from scratch and go into elderly people's homes to cook for them. I have seen a lot of stoves over the past 30 years. I now own the best.
