Gas stove

I hope I can change this rating. Tonight was my first time using it and I put a frozen pizza in the top and bottom just to try. The one pizza on the top I put in about 5 minutes before the bottom oven. The bottom oven pizza was done really fast and unevenly! I moved the top pizza down to the bottom. I actually cried after using this oven. I love to bake and how unevenly this oven cooked, I wish I still had my electric. It also stinks! You can't smell gas when it's off only when it's on. It smells like your house is on fire. Also it is so hot on top! I guess it's a vent or a warming area but man I won't want to turn my oven on in the summer with the amount of heat. I thought maybe that's why the top oven is taking so long to cook. I hope this oven grows on me!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great overall range!

I am a gas service technician and I come across hundreds of ranges a year and found this unit was the most raved about. Not to mention very reliable. Also my wife bakes cupcake & cake orders from home and needed a second oven to speed up the process. We didn't have room for a second oven. After research and careful consideration we chose this model and now I can't keep her away from it!! Beings I'm certified I took the unit apart to complete the conversion from natural gas to propane. I was quite impressed by how well the stove was built compared to most units I work on. All the top burners cook evenly around the ring unlike other brands when converted to propane. The slate gray I feel looks better than stainless and is much easier to keep clean. We can cook dinner in the bottom oven on convection and bake cupcakes on top... and guess what? The cupcakes don't taste like lasagna! We are very satisfied with our stove and wound recommend it to anyone who likes to cook.

I bought this stove less than a month ago. It works great, I love the features. In general it's a great stove. However, I'm extremely disappointed the oven lights are already burned out and need repair.

Great special features

Very pleased with the special features. Nice to have a smaller oven for two people. Energy efficient. The lower oven provides larger item cooking. The use of the additional oven is great to cook additional dishes at the same time or with the delay cook. Handy when having large family events. I like best the option of the various burners to fit the different cooking temperatures. The simmer burner is very efficient. So pleased with my purchase. It is everything I hoped for. Will say that the programing takes a bit to get used to.

looks great doesn't work

Bought GE for a second time thinking that this stove would be better the last one my mistake. Neither oven work correctly. I used two thermostats on both ovens never consistent temperature and oven quits. Ill see what service will do.
