Exhaust fan useless

For those hoping this over the range microwave will help remove cooking fumes, you will be disappointed. The fan is basically useless. A piece of paper towel barely, just barely, stuck to the exhaust grill. To make sure I wasn’t going crazy, I compared it to another (different model) Profile Over-the-Range microwave in my building. The difference was beyond dramatic. It’s such a shame because otherwise it seems to be a capable appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most complete microwave oven I've ever used

I bought this microwave a couple of months ago as part of a complete appliance upgrade for our new condo. Rather than being a typical "aide" to normal meal preparation, it plays a much larger part in preparing all of our cooked foods.

Surprisingly a GE Profile appliance that works

It works. In fact of the three GE Profile appliances I bought, it is the only thing that works. The dishwasher and range/double oven both broke in the first week. It heats food fine. The glass is dark so it's hard to see through it to notice if your food is boiling over or exploding. Otherwise, it works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
