Wonderful Microwave

Replaced an old Kenmore Microwave. Features are great, very big and powerful compared to old model. Easy maintainance and clean up. Would recommend to anyone looking for new Microwave.

Beautiful and quiet, but buttons are hard to scan

This thing is huge, and it is quiet. The microwave just feels "competent" and for some mysterious reason, the "Turbo" mode on the vent fan is quieter than the "High" mode.
The buttons along the bottom are great for shorter folks. My onw grouse is it takes me a while to "read" through all the test labels to find the button for "Vent Fan" or "Surface Light" ... do they not have access to "icons" at GE? They could even have gone with FAN and LIGHT ... oh well.

It heats up faster than my old unit. The microwave is the most used item in my kitchen. I wanted a good one and I got it. I also like the clean appearance of the unit. The surface light provides an abundance of like to my stove cooking surface.

So far so good. My last microwave was a Samsung and it lasted one year and half. Warranty expired so I decided to get a GE product since I always used GE in the past which lasted 5 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The GE Profile Microwave is so quiet. I love having numerous choices in exhaust level and tone loudness. I have the tone on the lowest setting so I can hear it, but, it's not obnoxious and doesn't wake other household members. It looks fantastic.The interior is huge.
