I always buy GE kitchen appliances, and I always have issues with the microwaves at some point. This is the second GE profile we have had in this house. Currently the microwave goes out immediately after turning on. We called out the electrician, and all was well with the outlet, and fuse. She stated it is something with the microwave. I am in the process of searching for someone to repair this microwave. I do not think it is still under warranty, so if its cheaper to replace than repair, I am not sure I will be able to continue getting GE microwaves.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Profile microwave

Good overall but over-the-range exhaust feature is very weak. Also, though it seems to have been developed with the GE Profile range, the timers on both have completely different “start” functions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Huge Looking Microwave

Over the stove microwave with more than sufficient power to do the jobs it needs to do. Does a good job of sensing the humidity content of the contents and monitoring changes to determine when the material is finished. Popcorn pops with very few wasted kernels. Because the door is the full width of the microwave it takes a lot of room when it opens and it makes the oven look much larger than it actually is.
