Purchased GE Profile appliances when remodeling our kitchen. This microwave is less wattage than my last but spacious, quiet and gets the job done.

Fairly quiet. It has a reminder beep if u leave something inside after heating! Big display for old eyes. Good power. Looks great. Express Cook buttons 1_5 great idea. Press 3 and it starts for 3 minutes. They should put LED lamps for cooktop lighting. 8w warm light intermediate base screw in bulbs qty2. They still use incandescent. Shame

Great kitchen enhancement!!

Our previous microwave died and we wanted a feature rich product to enhance our kitchen space. The Profile oven to match was a great pairing. We love the chef connect feature that turns the fan and/or light on when you turn the stove top on. We also like all the express cook options. We also like not having a handle which keep the fingerprints down. And that’s one less thing needing a repair.

I purchased this microwave 2 years ago because of its reputation for quality, sleek look and availability. It worked great until it started tripping the circuit breaker and was not usable. We tried it on several outlets and had the same result every time. When I called the place of purchase they said there was a 1 year warranty and that I should have purchased the extended warranty. Why do I need an extended warranty if I'm buying a quality product?? So Frustrated...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is adequate. A little noisy, buttons require too much pressure. But it does what a microwave is supposed to do. The GE counter top microwave I bought 35+ years ago is still going strong. If this one last half of that I will be happy and pleasantly surprised.
