The control panel is not backlit.

So far this is a nice microwave but you cannot easily see the control panel when you want to make a selection. If your kitchen lights are off you cannot see the control panel at all. This feature should be included this this model.

Unit has changed

This was a replacement for a 2 year old one that caught on fire. The new model is much more tinnier than the same model from 2 years ago. The clock is now white instead of blue, and is very stark. Unit doesn’t seem to be even close to the same quality as the old unit. Would like to be contacted by GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
