Amazing microwave!

The door opening on the side is awesome...it cooks like I expected. The only down side of the dark glass front is that seeing what’s cooking is difficult. Other than that, I am learning more each day on this great product!

We replaced all of our 20 plus year old Profile GE appliances with new GE Profile appliances. Great GE products with latest upgrades and of the same demensions requiring no structural changes.

EASY TO CLEAN. I CHOOSE BLACK AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL. THE BUTTONS FOR POPCORN AND OTHER CHOICES ARE A PUSH BUTTON AWAY SO EASY

Terrible exhaust

While I feel this is an above average microwave as far as convenient cooking features, I have had continual problems with the exhaust fan, and cheap plastic parts. Even with proper ducting and frequent filter cleaning/replacement, the microwave leaked grease from its seams. The plastic filter access door and surrounding trim are of poor quality a had to be replaced twice. When grease dripping inside began causing my breaker to trip, I was happy to get rid of the unit. I can not recommend this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I think my favorite feature is the fan. Low, high and boost! Really sucks the air out. I do wish the buttons had display lighting, it’s hard to see buttons

Purchase cautiously

Product itself looks good and has lots of features. It also works great, when it works but we ate on our third one in as many years. The second lasted only 6 months and the current one, a warranty replacement, is already making Strang noises. I don't expect this one to last much longer so I'll let the warranty replace it again. Our first GE Profile lasted over 10 years. Disappointed.
