I love this!!

We had a regular GE over the range microwave before, but this one blows the previous model away in every way. It’s a lot quieter and the exhaust works really well. We vented this outside, which I’d highly recommend. I cooked some salmon recently, and for the first time ever my entire house didn’t smell like fish after. The cooking features on this device are also great in general. It seems to be a lot more gentle on all the items being cooked. I can’t wait for my induction range to arrive to try out the chef connect features!

I love the look of this microwave. Works as expected. It’s great to have four fan speed options, but it is a bit loud. I’m overall happy with it.

Didn’t last 2 years

Loved the microwave when it was working. However, we didn’t even have it 2 years before it quit heating up. Way too expensive of a unit to not even last 2 years and have no support from the manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a Good Product

We bought this Microwave brand new in 2017. It's barely 4 years old and it throws a breaker. Called repair and apparently there is a short in the door. Of course that is where all of the buttons are so replacement is very expensive. Almost the cost if not more than a new one. Will not buy this model ever again. Thinking real hard about not buying GE Profile at all. My refrigerator had to have warranty work when they installed it and the top oven of my Double Oven has already had the heating element replaced (not under warranty). Really not top notch appliances. If I could give them a zero I would

Finally an improved product from GE. This microwave is better than it’s predecessors. This in contrast to the dishwasher & refrigerator we also just installed, both of which are not up to the quality of previous appliances.

The microwave works well. The reheat sensor features seem to do the job. The pasta reheat feature, in my opinion, cooks the food a little bit longer than it should. The fan for this unit is great. We installed the unit to exhaust outside of our house and it really does a nice job moving the food smells outside. We have been using this for approximately two weeks and are satisfied with it to date.
