Love the eye level controls

We have only had the microwave for several weeks, but thus far we are very satisfied with its performance. It is great having the controls across the bottom at eye level. The microwave cooks quickly and the exhaust vent also works well, especially with the three power levels. The only negative aspect of the oven is the volume of the timer tone. The volume can be adjusted, but even on high, you have to be standing by the oven to hear it. When the timer went off on our old oven, you could hear it pretty much any where in the house.

Very Sleek

We bought this appliance as part of a remodel, we needed a range hood that was also a microwave. This is a very sleek appliance and matches my ge profile range very well. I don't typically use it for cooking, mostly reheating. I love the preset features for steaming and reheating. The fan is very noisy, even on the lowest setting and the surface light creates so much heat that the glass plate inside gets hot and you can't even touch the light bulb cover because it is so hot. Overall, a nice appliance but much more than I really needed.

Works great but can’t see inside when cooking

We’re disappointed in that there’s no interior light to see good that is cooking. All my previous GE microwaves let us see what’s cooking. It goes look great and cooks well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
