We've only had this microwave for a week, but it seems to be powerful and has some nice features, such as reheating based on the food and steam cooking. One feature that we miss (& had on our last microwave which unfortunately stopped working) is the ability to set the light on the microwave to come on & turn off automatically, so that it functions as a nightlight in the kitchen. So far no performance issues one week into it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features, lots of bels and whistles, cheaply

Bought this piece of appliance in April 2021, by November, the door starts to disintegrate, literally, see pictures. Each morning, we awake to find a fractured piece on the stove. It appears that the seams also leak. I am having 2nd thoughts about this appliance and worry that this is a new trend for GE. Our old appliance lasted 17 yrs; no problems.

We bought top of the line GE profile appliances thinking they would be better than our old versions. We were wrong. They are still loud and work out better than our very old appliances. The buttons are also hard to press and don’t work easily. Save yourself some money and buy the basic line of appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large microwave fits a lot!

I like the microwave, it fits a large pot to boil water, or to make iced tea. However, the "Chef Connect" feature does not work with the profile Range. Very disappointing as it will not stay connected. We purchased this in order for the light and the fan feature to automatically turn on while cooking on the range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
