Model has changed from earlier versions

Ordered a replacement of the same model number only to find GE has made significant changes to the SAME model. The overall size is smaller 16'" H vs 17"; the display is now White and prior it was Green; The GE emblem is all silver whereas prior it was Black and Silver. 100% disappointed, a replacement of the same model now doesn't match all our kitchen appliances!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good. Matches the set and looks nice in the kitchen. Seems to cook well. Vent fan seems to have decent power.

Microwave looks slick but functionality is weak. Buttons aren't soft touch- have to press hard down quite hard; adding a few extra seconds is difficult since there is no turn wheel; the plastic built has a flimsy feel to the unit overall
