Works well, but flimsy

The door is light-weight and has sharp edges, and the touch pad is not responsive. A ss inset on the door cheapens the look.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek and functional

This microwave is sleek looking, huge and functional. I like that it connects with my stove/range and they can be in sync to aid in cooking. I like the quick one button time cooking buttons as well.

It has good features but the construction seems cheap. The door is thin and has sharp edges, and the ss inset at the edge looks shabby. I also find the buttons to be rather unresponsive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this about 4 years ago when I moved into my new home. It was working great, but then after about 2 year it began to turn off and not want to turn back on. It eventually now crapped out and died. I purchased the same exact one and I'm hoping it works out; however I ordered online in April and still have yet to receive my microwave. After reading all these reviews I'm almost regretting the repurchase of this item because it looks like everyone is having the same issue. I chose GE thinking they have been around forever and have this appliance thing down, apparently not!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works perfectly, can be hard to observe cooking

Works extremely well - plenty of power. Cooking area is deceptive as front door makes it look extremely large but when you open the door, the right side is the electronics enclosure - the glass on the door is much larger than the cooking area. If you are short, you will have problems viewing the food as it is cooking since the bottom part of the glass is solid black and you have to look over it to see inside while cooking is in progress.

I love the clean lines of this appliance. However, fingerprints are more noticeable.

Works like a microwave

For the past 2 weeks, microwave has worked. No issues. I do like the handle incorporated into the side rather than sticking out. Looks good in our kitchen!
