I love the style and how sleek it looks without a door. It does smudge easily with fingerprints and takes a hard push to get the buttons to work. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Love my microwave!

When my original GE profile microwave died after many years of faithful service, I was sad to learn that my model was no longer being sold. I bought this model instead and it is just Wonderful! It's very sleek-looking without the handle and it is quite large on the inside. I was worried that it did not have a shelf rack inside, but the larger size allows for everything to fit easily even without a second level. It heats efficiently and I love the express cook, add 30 seconds, defrost, and reheat features. So happy with this purchase!

When I close the door the fan will not shut off

Our over-the-range microwaves come with a safety feature that allows the fan to turn on automatically and for a period of time beyond a cooking setting to protect itself from extreme temperatures. The automatic fan feature protects the microwave from
too much heat rising from the cooktop below it and automatically turns on the fan at low speed if it senses too much heat. The fan will automatically turn off when the internal parts are cool, and it could run for 30 minutes or more after the cooktop and microwave controls are turned off. Looks good but buttons are hard

Looks are good. It is elegant.
The touch buttons are very hard to press.

Replacement Model

We thought we had purchased the same model we were replacing that was only 2 years old. Very different specs. This one was much smaller, different mounting system and we had to reconfigure how to install between our cabinets plus the installation instructions were wrong.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
