Broken after 3 years

Loved it until it broke. About a month ago, the microwave started tripping the breaker every time we pressed start. My husband researched repairing it, but the cost to repair is nearly the same as replacement. My husband even bought a 3ft 10 gauge heavy duty extension cord to try a different outlet and it tripped that breaker too. The issue is definitely the microwave and not our electrical wiring.
We have all slate colored GE appliances and would need to replace with another GE slate microwave to match, but unfortunately, our trust has been destroyed and we are left wondering if we should take a chance at another disappointment or buy a mismatched microwave.

Door is too dark

Buttons take multiple touches or hard push. Doesn't seem as powerful, but really nice features. Door is too dark to see food inside very easily

Modern and easy to use

Whole kitchen is GE Profile. The microwave is modern, unique, and also very practical and easy to use. Added features such as chef connect is a bonus and a nice feature. It was easy to install and as of now, works/looks great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the clean look and the control panel location

This is a replacement for a 17 year old failed model and the new stainless steel looks much better than bisque. The oven cavity is larger and generally all features but one are replicated in the new microwave. Notably absent: a reminder timer that would allow up to 23 hours 59 minutes ahead timer to go off at a specific time. I used that feature regularly and miss that function.
GIVE US A BRIGHTER UNDER-THE-MICROWAVE LAMP!! 50 watts is NOT nearly enough. AT LEAST make it LED daylight color, equiv. to 100 watts!!!!
