Only had this microwave a few months and now it's starting to shut off randomly while cooking or even just sitting there with the clock displayed. It will suddenly just start flashing TIME on the display. Have to hut the STOP/CANCEL button and the rest the clock. Once we had to unplug it to get it to reset. It dies this randomly a couple of times a week. We can't trust it. We have called to get a service appointment under warranty next week, but because the problem is intermittent I don't have much hope of a favorable outcome. If it worked all the time it would be a good microwave, but unfortunately it doesn't. I would not recommend.

Love this microwave

we love the microwave. the design is kind of strange. appears it could be a larger cooking space. but that’s the only option we had for our over the stove location.

After a few months this Microwave started shutting off by itself and flashing "TIME" on the display. It would do this every few days, be ok for a week or two and then Starr shutting down again. We have to hit the stop/cancel button and rest the clock each time. Once we had to unplug it to get it to be resettle. It's unpredictable and unreliable. We had a factory service person come out to look at it. But could not find a problem. He said that because it's an intermittent failure it's difficult to find the cause -- he said to monitor it, and call him back when it does it again. What a load of crap - this thing will probably fail completely the day after the 1 year warranty expires. I would NOT recommend this due to the reliability issues.

Features not as good as my previous model

This Profile unit is about 1 to 1 1/2 inches smaller than my previous Profile unit. Not impressed with door handle.

More cheaply made than same model 6 years ago.

Our 6 year old, same model recently went bad because of the switches inside the latches. We purchased the same model again, and was surprised that the size was smaller, the wattage was smaller, the door was more cheaply made. So far, no specific problems with the new one, but it's pretty frustrating that as usual, you no longer get what you pay for.

lights are disappointing

The microwave looks great. The lighting is terrible. The yellowish halogen bulbs inside and underneath look dated and don't provide adequate illumination.
