GE Profile Microwave

Great looking microwave, disappointed it does have a beverage setting(weird), the surface light has no automatic setting my older and cheaper GE Profile microwave. Door also swings out far so “heads up”. Other than it works well and looks good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This replaced a 16 year old GE Profile Advantium microwave, which was finally beginning to malfunction occasionally. This microwave is so much nicer looking and it heats the food more quickly and more evenly than the old microwave. It was the highest rated microwave across the various home improvement stores and Consumer Reports. It looks fantastic above our slide-in oven. I hope this one lasts 16 years like the last one.

Poor quality and wrong dimensions

We love the microwave design and features, right after a year the door mechanism fail, the repair cost more than a new unit, we ordered the same unit to replace and received the same unit but one inch short, now don’t fit our cabinets, seem like the dimension changed this year, the whole unit is smaller, called customer service and agreed to replace it again, to find out that the replacement units are short as well, the data sheet do not match the product, really disappointed as we really like the unit, customer service was great but product was not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
