Very spacious

My last microwave lasted over 10 years, this is the new upgrade! Love this model it is easy to use, spacious, and durable!

Not as good as the original 15 yr.old. model

First one lasted 15 years and was mostly metal. This one is mostly plastic. I can only hope it lasts as long. For the high cost it better!

This is another GE appliance I purchased sight unseen. I love the features this has especially the light that you can change from bright to dim - works great as a night light. My family's fave features are the integration with Chef Connect - (I purchased the range as well) lets you sync clocks and range burners with the microwave's surface light and vent the GE app that will let you scan foods is AMAZING and take the guessing right out of the equation.

LACKING SOME FEATURES OF PREVIOUS OVEN

Doesn't include "Melt" features I had used for butter, chocolate
Limited view area on door-I'm 5 ft, 5 inches and must stand on toes to see inside

Doesn’t Last

I bought this model microwave for the first time in January 2017. My first one died December 2020. Just thinking I had bad luck I ordered the same model to replace it. The new one died before Thanksgiving this year! Didn’t even last 2 years. Now trying to figure out a new microwave that will actually last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
