While too early to provide feedback on this new model I want to mention I purposely chose this GE Profile 2.1 Cubic Feet Microwave to replace my previous one which failed in less then 4 years ( cooking fan would not turn off when not in use) as I assumed ( incorrectly) that the new model would use the same brackets and support screws would be in the
same position. None of those are the same. Width is identical but height is slightly less as is the depth and the support screw holes are in a different place; GE why would you do that?

New GE Profile microwave

The unit works great! The only problem with the design is the too large door. The entire front opens and you have to step back to do so or hit yourself with the door. Also the control panel is harder to push. Other than that…the unit is great and we will adapt.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Goes well with my range. I like that you can sync the microwave and range so that when you turn on the burner, you can have the surface light of the microwave automatically turn on (as well as the fan if you want)

The light is not bright enough to see Anything In the microwave. The door is too big. Not happy with it

Haven’t really used the microwave much due to kitchen renovations. Pleased so far. Would given a 10, except for the ventilation system being really loud.

The control display is much easier to see and navigate than other microwave ovens that I have used. The one button touch features are convenient for the smaller items that need to be heated. The "LOOK" of the oven face enhances the kitchen.
