Great Featues and Design.

Very nice design. Controls are very easy to get used to. Really like the Chef Connect link to my Profile gas range. Surface light and fan starts when starting a burner. Fan and light level setting you setup.seems like it is cooking faster than my last one. The door has a wider swing, not having the side control panel. Need to remember to step back when swinging door closed. Caught me in the head a few times. The fan is much quiter than my last one. Window in the door is very dark. When running you really can't see the item cooking inside. The inside light could be brighter. Very happy though with this purchase!

No quality control at all

Purchase a new range and microwave. The microwave was bad out of the box and the range control board died in ten days. It’s called quality control, I suggest you look it up and I’ll look for appliances elsewhere.

A quick failure.

Should have paid more attention to other 1-star ratings. This thing worked perfectly for exactly one week, then the magnetron or some such part quit working. The timers, the cooking countdown, and the exhaust fan still work fine, It will not cook and the turntable refuses to move. I expect it will need to be replaced, hopefully not with another lemon.

Another Disappointing GE Profile Experience

The control buttons on the tape on the bottom row stopped working presumably because the “tape” that displays the function buttons has buckled in one area due to normal cooking heat from the cooktop below. But this appliance is meant to be installed over the cooktop and was professionally installed accordingly.
