Halogen light ! Really?

I am a remodeling contractor. We remodel dozens of kitchens each year. Needing a replacement for my aging microwave hoodfan I saw this one at a local showroom and ordered it. Coincidentally two of our clients have ordered the same model. My extreme disappointment is the fact that the light is Halogen instead of LED!

Nice microwave, but could use a particular convenience heating feature: quick beverage reheat button. Also, the surface light should have 2 bulbs to give proper lighting coverage to the surface of the cooktop below. It’s shadowy for some of the burners on the accompanying GE Profile range. Otherwise, very nice so far.

Horrible - Stay away

Horrible, breaks down, expensive to fix
Constant trips breakers, there is a known defect in the door switch which after about a year needs replacing. Do not buy this

Outstanding Over the stove microwave

We had one that was from 2015 it went bad we bought a newer model and we love GE appliances but we love there microwave over the stove ovens this one is outstanding I would rate it a solid 10 love it best for your money
