It's the simple things....

Looks great. Quite noisy when compared to my past Profile microwaves. Also miss the aesthetics of a shiny interior.
And whose "not-so-bright" idea was it to NOT include a programmable night light? I mean, huh? A bazillion $ Profile microwave and THAT was omitted? Shame on ME for not checking first for that attribute and assuming with all the other bells and whistles (that I won't use much) the programmable night light feature would be a given. Why in the world was that not included??? 30+ years with other Profile microwaves and..................wow. Quite dumb. I mean that's like a new high model vehicle that doesn't include cruise!
And I knew the key pad didn't light up, but it should after touching it and stay on for a short delay. That would be extremely helpful.

Microwave Replacement

this is our second microwave, the first one was determined to have a major flaw according to the technician and refunded us for a new one. We like the look and function of the microwave so we purchased the same one. The newer one is constructed slightly different and the installation was not the same as our previous microwave. Overall happy with the microwave as long as this one last more than the last one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement better than original

My wife loves her new microwave. It replaced a previous GE Profile unit that lasted 10 years.

Beautiful looking. Cooks fast. However, display window is too small and too high. Also, the lighting for the interior is not bright enough. Love the easy clean interior.

Extra shiny and roomy!

I have had a GE Profile dual fuel range for 18 years that I absolutely love. Surprised me...who could LOVE a range?Decided this time for microwave replacement I would go with GE Profile. It is very roomy, extra shiny, fingerprints do not show, always looks just cleaned and runs quietly. Looks like a commercial micro for a restaurant! We will see how it goes during the next years.

Good looks, sad light and instructions

Looks nice, very sad dull quartz halogen lamp to light the range. I didn't even look, expecting a modern GE Profile would have LED bulbs by now. I would not have bought and installed if I knew the lamp was do dim. I'll have to install a LED cabinet light under the new microwave.
Also, how to use/cook instructions are a half page, does not cover all features/buttons so I'll have to YouTube.
