Beware, the PVM9005SJSS is now the series 8. It is made shorter and cheaper that the one I had before. The door is not as solid either. My last one seemed way more durable. The store I bought from actually had a door like my last one which was a series 3.
I have always bought GE products. My kitchen has all GE as does my laundry room. It seems like they are beginning to make things that are not as durable as before.

Good micro wave. My only downside is the interior of the microwave is smaller than previous model.

Good light over stove.

Works fine, it's part of an entire suite of GE appliances for a remodel. Good over stove lighting and exhaust fan.

Replacement for a 2016 model

This is a replacement for a 2016 model. This new version is much lighter, less robust frame for mounting and has a smaller interior configuration. The built in cook top light is very dim, will likely switch it out with a LED lamp.
To bad GE has to compromise builds, to achieve a marketable price point.
However it is a stylish model and historically works well..
