Updated Model to Match My Stove

This is the microwave designed to match our stove, so didn't really have a choice, but have been pleased with this microwave. The only real change I've noticed from the previous model is when I hit the surface light button, it goes to high first, low second, the opposite of how it used to be, but I like it! The glass plate is also larger, actually spinning into an indentation in the door! The alert signal at the end of a cooking cycle is quite low, and I haven't been able to figure out how to change it. Overall, it looks great, works well.

GE profile microwave without handle

Love the look of the microwave but it feels as though it is made cheaply. It is not very quiet.

Good but the new unit is more noisy than the old one. It looks like the new one has a thinner door and that’s why it’s noisy.

I recently replaced my range and switched from gas to induction - a decision I’m very happy with. Shortly afterwards, my 7 year old Maytag microwave called it quits. I selected this GE Profile model to complement my new range. I especially like the smooth lines and touchpad location. While it doesn’t have all the features of my old microwave, I’m quickly learning how to use it with similar results.
I do find the touchpad requires more pressure than I anticipated and the edges of the hidden handle could feel a little smoother. Also, it makes a bit more noise when running than my old one did. These aren’t deal breakers, just observations.

CLEAN/CRISP LOOKING

I chose the "no handle" microwave and it is really clean looking and seamless to use. Buttons are user friendly. Fingerprints on the buttons will be an issue if hands are dirty.
