Unit stopped heating after 16 months. Previous GE Profile microwave lasted 20 years. Look somewhere else for better quality.

What a waste of money. GE has gone down the toilet. Bought this to replace another GE microwave and nothing but problems. Now it trips the breaker at any attempt to use. UNSAFE!!!

It’s extremely loud when the magnetron engages. Would have been nice if GE would have used the same mounting brackets, my 3rd GE microwave and all 3 used different brackets.

Overall look fits well in my kitchen. Very satisfied with installed Features This model has even less viewing area for contents while microwave is in operation. One concern about the door handle area. The edge (outer corner) is sharp enough to cut; it would definitely lacerate a forehead if forceful contact is made while the door is open.

We just renovated our kitchen and needed an over the range microwave. It is really beautiful and so large inside. The lighting and fan are great too! We always buy GE Profile and will continue to do so!

Was great, until it wasn’t. Didn’t make it 4 years

We loved the look of this microwave and after installation it was great. I was always a little concerned about the cord holding the wires to the door as it was slowly fraying. Well, less than 4 years in and the microwave is shot. You open or close the door? Breaker blows. Try to turn it on, breaker blows. I won’t even bother replacing it with another ge. Outlet tested, no issues with it or breaker. For this kind of money, it shouldn’t break down this soon. Repair guy said this one is too expensive to even try and repair. Out of warranty so I am out of luck.
