The exhaust is not great. I can see oil on the top cabinets above microwave

We're happy to provide information on the microwave exhaust. If microwave is vented internally (recirculating), we recommend replacing the charcoal filter every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage. For more information, please refer at this link here:

Smaller compartment than my older, same model. They shrunk the compartment, but put indentations on the sides and floor to be able to say it is a 2.1 cu.ft. Really deceptive. It's much louder when running, and selection panel buttons have to be pushed way too hard to be convenient.

Been in use about two weeks. Heats food Ok. VERY noisy compared to the KitchenAid it replaced. Difficult to see food inside with the dim light and dark glass. Overall just OK, but if I had to do it over I would buy a KitchenAid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Appliance Lamp Replacment is Horrible

It performs as it should, easy to use and understand the process / procedures. However the design of the lamp replacment is horrible. The screw that holds the lamp cover in place drops out of the screwhole when lossened ... if it falls on the range top you have a chance of finding it, if it doesn;t and goes on the floor, good luck locating. The lamp every 4 months jiggles lose and I have to open up the cover and re-tighten/screw back in the lamp, invariably the screw falls out. Trying place the screw back correctly is also very difficult as you are working upside down and the scre hole is difficult to even see. ...this is so poorly designed and has such a simple solution to fixing, is beyond comprehension. Come on GE, you can do better
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just had it installed today. Looks awesome. Love the side handle!
Quite loud when you first press start but quickly quiets down. Touch screen is not very sensitive to my finger and I have had to repeat touches several times
